For me, the best wedding films don’t make your day look more perfect than it was. They make it feel real again.

I want you to remember the nervous energy, the sound of your favourite people laughing, the glances across the room and the moment the dance floor completely lost control—the perfectly imperfect parts you couldn’t plan, even if you tried.

My approach is candid, observant and intentionally hands-off. I’ll offer direction when you need it, but I’m not there to turn your wedding into a film set or manufacture moments that don’t feel like you. I want you to be completely present while I capture everything unfolding around you.

Every film is shaped by the couple and the energy of their day not a template. I blend cinematic digital footage with the nostalgic texture of Super 8 and the raw, chaotic energy of camcorder film. Beautiful where it should be, imperfect where it matters and always grounded in something real.

Myr Films began in 2019 when I filmed a family friend’s wedding near Mandurah. More than 200 weddings later, my camera has taken me across Australia, Asia and Europe.

By the time your wedding arrives, I don’t want to feel like another supplier. I want us to know each other, have a laugh and build enough trust that you can forget about the cameras and simply enjoy yourselves.

Although, if the drum & bass comes on, you may discover I have enough questionable dance moves to clear an entire dance floor.
